Back draught shutters are a one way valve for air. The back draught shutter has aluminium lamellae which open when air is flowing and close when air tries to flow in the wrong direction. When there isn't any air flowing the lamellae are maintained in a closed vertical position using a spring. The back draught shutter is supplied with a double EPDM SpiraSafe gasket.
